Triquetra with Circle - Trinity Knot- Charmed Knot - BR

The Triquetra, sometimes known as a Trinity Knot, has many interpretations. The triquetra in a circle can symbolize the integration of mind, body, and spirit or the unity of past, present, and future. The circle suggests wholeness and completeness. The interlocking loops suggest interconnectedness and interdependence. In a circle, this can symbolize the cyclical nature of life, where everything is connected in a continuous flow of energy and existence.  The circle is often seen as a symbol of protection or enclosure, suggesting a sacred space or boundary within which the energies represented by the triquetra are contained and preserved. The circle has long been associated with infinity and eternity due to its lack of beginning or end. It is also associated with the ancient belief in the "power of three" and is also know as the "Charmed Knot". When combined with the triquetra, it can suggest eternal cycles, continuity, and the everlasting nature of spiritual truths.  In Ireland, it has sometimes been used in a Christian context to represent the holy trinity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, similarly to the shamrock.
